How many images will I receive? 

For weddings you can expect to receive anywhere from 500-700 images in your final gallery. That, of course, is based on the amount of hours you have hired us for and simply an estimate. Each wedding is different. 

For all other sessions, you can expect to receive approximately 50 images per hour.

What should I wear for My Shoot?

The first thing to remember is to BE COMFORTABLE! You don't want to have to feel conscious about if how you look or feel in the outfit you choose! It is important to be comfortable because if you aren't it will reflect in your images. Earth toned colors always photograph super well with our style of photography. If you are having images taken with your family or boo thang, it's always important to remember to coordinate outfits, not match!

What are your Travel Fees?

Our travel fee policy is simple, anything that is over 2+ hours from Salem, Illinois will incur a $100 fee and/or any travel that requires airline travel, car rental, or hotel stays, we require those fees to be covered, too.

What happens If i Have to Cancel?

Life happens, we get it. All sessions and weddings require 25% of the total due at the time of booking to secure your date and serve as a non-refundable retainer. If you find yourself in a bind and needing to reschedule your session, you will have the opportunity to re-schedule your session on another open and available date that we have. If none of those dates work, you will fore-fit your 25% retainer.

What if There is Bad weather?

If there is inclement weather during on the day of your scheduled session, you will hear from me at least 2 hours before your session determining whether or not I think your session should be rescheduled. If we need to find another date for your session, I will send you all available dates and make sure we find a date that works for all parties to reschedule for. 

How do you Accept Payments?

The process is super simple and streamlined! Once you decide to book your session or wedding date with Mist, you will receive an invoice that is sent to your email. You will be able to pay directly through the link sent to your email or you can venmo @mistphotography! If there is another way you need to pay, just reach out!

Do you Give Raw or Unedited Files?

We do not offer RAW or unedited files in order to maintain the integrity and style of our brand. However, we do deliver all final edited images matching our brand style! You will also receive black and white images, based on our creative and artistic choices!

How far will You Travel?

Tell us where we are going and we will have our bags packed — the world is your oyster!

Will you Plan our Photography Timeline?

Yes, we do! We will be in contact with you throughout your planning process. About a month from your date, we will send out a final questionairre to get all the detaisl about your wedding day and begin to create a photography timeline and family shot list for you! We will make any revisions to the timeline based on your wants and needs and you will receive a final timeline 1-2 weeks before your date.

What happens if You Cannot make it To our Wedding?

In the 4 years we have been photographing timeless moments, we have never missed a wedding. Per our contract, we would have to be on our death bed to miss your special day! However, if that is the case (knocking on wood it is not!), we have a plethora of talented and experienced photographers who would be able to step up and capture your date breathtakingly.
